Welcome to our characterful holiday home, located on a historic site on Terschelling. This authentic house is the second house ever built on West aan Zee and has retained its original charm. Our house is not a destination for luxury, but for those who value originality, tranquility and a cosy, primitive lifestyle.

ABOUT OUR HOLIDAY HOME

Our detached holiday home, built in 1934, offers a simple yet cozy and fully furnished experience. With an L-shaped living room, kitchenette, separate shower and separate toilet, and on the top floor four bedrooms under the sloping roof, with two French beds and two beds of 140x200. Views in all directions on a plot of 700 m². Outside terrace on the south-west side and a sheltered terrace on the east side.

The house is located in the middle of the dunes, 300 meters from the widest beach in Europe, 1 kilometer from the forest, 3 kilometers from the pleasant village of Midsland and 5 kilometers from the ferry at West Terschelling. Here you can enjoy nature, even in the house.

SURROUNDINGS AND ACTIVITIES

From our house there are beautiful walking and cycling routes to the beach, the sea, dunes, forests, villages and the mudflats. Discover the subtropical swimming pool on West (5 km), the wreck museum in Formerum (8 km), The Bunker Museum (5 km), Museum 't Preserve Huys' or the Center for Nature and Landscape in West Terschelling. Take a nature tour with a forester, green Noordsvaarder beach, horseback riding, relax with a film, paintball (2 km) or visit the climbing forest (2 km). Terschelling library or buy a book at the bookstore, along the beach to the drowning house or over the Bosplaat nature reserve, walk Haven West and to the lighthouse the Brandaris, various restaurants bars beach bars delicious dishes with island products.
