Holiday property - Gouden Rijder

The detached thatched farmhouse, De Florijn, built in 2009, has 4 farm houses, all of which are very comfortably and attractively furnished. The underfloor heating and the beautiful wood-burning stoves make it a great place to stay in all seasons. Outside each lodge you will find a private terrace facing south. For children, the large garden around the farm is a true play paradise (over 1000 m2). There is also ample parking space at the lodges.

The front house was typically the domain of the farmer family. The Gouden Rijder is this kind of house with all the characteristics of yesteryear.

Sleep like a king!
This house offers the privilege of a private entrance and plenty of light streaming through the windows. From corner of your eye you see the thatched roof and the tranquil village that lies before you. Typical facades set the scene. From your terrace, at a distance, you are the observer of a village ritual. Residents discuss their island news over a fence, or during a stroll with the dog.

Cozy furnishings
Inside enjoy your own holiday pace, which will probably be different from the strict farming life of the past. With coffee and the newspaper on the old wooden kitchen table, the clock appears to be a phenomenon that belongs to the 'mainland'. The cozy room holds you in its grip. On the tile floor adorns the wood stove. Paintings with a rural touch; you’ll definitely be able to hold out here for a few days!

Peace and space
A 1,000 m2 large field is located at the rear. Within ten minutes you're on the dike. We know from experience: the sea is enchanting. Sometimes the water stretches like a mirror in front of you; with strong winds, the waves crash on the rocks. You’ll have plenty of time to yourself, in the company of a thousand wading birds.

Upon arrival, your beds will be made; there are bath towels (2 per person) and kitchen towels ready for you as well as several guest supplies available.
